About Us

Sweet Scales Reptiles (SSR) is a Minnesota-based company, established in 2019, which is dedicated to the care, breeding and preservation of various New Caledonian and Southeast Asian Gecko species.

SSR currently breeds Crested, Chahoua, Gargoyle, Eurodactolodes, Sarisinorum and Mourning geckos.

We are passionate about our animals and want them to have the best lives possible. To that end, SSR offers a wide variety of supplies for the care and health of geckos, including Pangea Gecko Diet, food and water dishes (silicone, plastic and compostable), enclosure decorations and bug dishes. All items SSR offers on its website are the same supplies we use in our breeding facility, so we can personally speak to their quality.
